Installing
This installer should find your copy of Gridz and install into the same folder. The installer creates a new application called "Gridz 1.1 Beta" and adds some new data files.

Networking
This version includes NetGridz. NetGridz can be played over the Internet or over an AppleTalk network. See the help screens for more information. Internet NetGridz requires Open Transport. We recommend version 1.1.2 or later.
Your Serial Number & The Gridz CD & NetGridz
The same serial number cannot be used on multiple machines in a network game. You can play against anyone with a normal serial number or anyone with a network serial number. 3 free network serial numbers can be requested by sending e-mail to "net@gridz.com" with your real serial number in the subject line.
We will soon have a way to purchase 4 additional network serial numbers on our web site.
You will need the CD when you install and enter the serial number. A network serial number does not allow single player play.

Gridz‚Ñ¢ License Agreement
This is a legal agreement between you and Green Dragon Creations, Inc. covering your use of Gridz. Be sure to read the following agreement before using the software. BY INSTALLING GRIDZ FROM THE CD-ROM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT. If you do not accept or agree to these terms you may, within fifteen (15) days return this entire package to the person from whom you acquired it for a full refund.
You may install Gridz on only one computer at any one time. You may physically transfer the Product from one computer to another; provided that the Product is used on only one computer at a time.
You may not rent or lease the software, nor may you modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software. If you violate any part of this agreement, your right to use this software terminates automatically.
This license is not a sale. Title and copyrights to the Product and any copy made by you remain with GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC..
Unauthorized copying or transmission to others of the Product or failure to comply with the above restrictions, will result in automatic termination of this license and will make available to GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC. other legal remedies. In the event of termination of this license, you must return all copies of the Product to GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC. and erase any copies which you have made.
LIMITED WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This warranty applies to the Product and the media on which it may have been provided. Warranty on GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC. Product shall be limited to replacement of the defective Product only for ninety (90) days from date of purchase. GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC. further warrants for the same period that the Product, under normal use, will substantially perform when used on supported hardware and system software, provided such hardware and system software is in good working order.
GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC., its distributors or resellers entire liability and your exclusive remedy under this warranty (which is subject to you returning the Product to GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC. with a copy of your receipt) will be, at GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC. option, to attempt to correct or help you around errors with efforts which GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC. believes suitable to the problem, to replace the Product with functionally equivalent Product or media, as applicable, or to refund the purchase price and terminate this Agreement. All sales final.

IN NO EVENT WILL GREEN DRAGON CREATIONS, INC. AND ITS DISTRIBUTORS OR RESELLERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOST PROFITS, COST OF COVER OR OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Use, duplication, or disclosure by the Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in subdividison (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at 252.227-7013.
The user may not sublicense, assign or transfer this Agreement or the Product. This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi. This Agreement is the entire agreement between us and supersedes any other communications or advertising with respect to the Product. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
